Britain spends £10 billion annually on procurement and has a staff of 23,700 people to do it.

Now that we are seeing the light of day after Osborne’s statement. It seems he has missed a lot of opportunities and we aren’t really changing things too much.
This isn’t a big disappointment to me as I never really believed they would!

Not surprised about the wastage. I have a distant relative who works in the MoD and their tales about the bureaucracy in even getting a pencil from the stationery cupboard are legendary.
